Logo & Branding Highlight

As part of my role within Toronto Metropolitan University’s Athletics & Recreation department, I developed a logo for the Bold Women Giving Collective. The mark needed to work as both a membership symbol and a flexible asset across social, web, event signage, apparel, merchandise, and member pins.

The direction was to create something timeless and minimal that still felt connected to the TMU Bold brand system, without fully relying on its blue and gold palette. I leaned into a black-and-white approach with lighter-weight sans serif typography to give it a more refined, modern feel. The Flying B motif intentionally connects it to the larger Bold brand while allowing the Collective to maintain its own distinct identity.

The final logo is compact and versatile, designed to scale across a wide range of applications. It also helps position the Collective as a more distinct, elevated initiative within the broader TMU Bold ecosystem.
